A very nice and very clean apartment. Decorated with care and style in each corner. The sleeping accommodation is very good. The kitchen is well equipped. To Kennington Underground station its only two minutes walking and from there its only three stops to Charing Cross station (Trafalgar Square). The owner, Johnny M., is a perfect host, funny and special person. He is very friendly and explains everything you need to know about the apartment or the neighbourhood. It's excellent location, steps from the Kennington tube station, 2 lovely pubs close by, a wine/liquor store down the road, a fantastic Italian restaurant and Tesco's grocery store nearby, all within easy walking make for a great stay. The apartment itself is very functional with the living quarters upstairs and 2 spacious bedrooms/baths below; lovely and quiet for those getting over jet-lag! All rooms are beautifully decorated; the eat-in kitchen is "fully equipped" and bright, the bathrooms lovely and modern - excellent showers, plenty of hot water. Wait until you see the toilet seats! Johnny is a wonderful host, kind, considerate and very helpful - even purchasing me a Union Jack Toilet Seat/Lid! How's that for service! Enjoy your stay there - I will be back that's for sure! As for example Kennington subway station is only a two minutes walk away. The flat he showed us was gorgeous - all rooms were more than fully equipped, and decorated in an absolutely tasteful way (I don't need to mention that there wasn't a single speck of dust). My favourite was, however, the cozy, cottag-style kitchen. Well, and the livingroom, and the two bedrooms, and the bathrooms... ;-) However, the three of us spent two wonderful nights at Johnny's Place and want to thank our lovely host for all his efforts, and his obligingness. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de l'appartement de Johnny. Un accueil chaleureux et des explication précises de tout ce que nous devions savoir. Sa cuisine est une merveille et le reste de ce duplex très spacieux est décoré avec goût jusque dans les moindres détails. Sa proximité de la ligne de métro Northern Line (directe pour St Pancras) met Londres à quelques minutes. Je recommanderais cet endroit à mes amis mais il ne faudrait pas qu'il devienne trop connu quand même car nous aimerions bien y retourner.

I was a little worried that the location was a little out of the way, but found it to be an excellent spot to travel around London. The Kennington tube station being so close to the apartment, it was easier to get to our destinations than from many “central” locations. L'appartamento è veramente grazioso ed offre tutti i comfort per sentirsi come a casa propria. Le stanze sono spaziose, la cucina è molto carina e fornita di tutte le attrezzature necessarie, tipicamente inglese, i bagni sono pulitissimi, l'arredamento è veramente gradevole con un bel televisore. Le due stanze matrimoniali sono molto comode e il riscaldamento è perfetto. La casa è a due minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana e ben collegata al centro. John è stato molto gentile e disponibile e al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato anche una serie di beni di prima necessità (tipo l'olio, il pane e l'acqua). Siamo stati tutti molto contenti, compresi i due bimbi di due e quattro anni, di aver fatto questa scelta.
